In this workshop, Ruan Jia will share with us his workflow and thinking process in creating his fantastical illustrations for game productions. He will start from the early sketch exploration phase and continue to go over his painting process to the final. Topics such as image composition, color design and organization of details will be covered during the live painting and lecture sessions. This is a great workshop for both beginner and intermediate artists who wish to gain a better understanding of digital painting techniques and learn from Ruan Jia's specific image creation process.

INSTRUCTOR: Ruan Jia is a freelance concept artist from China. He started his career working for online game companies in 2001. Since then, he have worked for various major game studios such as ArenaNet, 343 Industries, & Blizzard Entertainment. His past projects included creating concepts and illustrations for "Halo", "Guild Wars 2", "World of Warcraft" and "Diablo 3".
