The understanding and use of architecture is a powerful medium for designers. It creates believable worlds that tells a story about the people/culture that developed it. In this foundational drawing course, we will explore the fundamental structure of various architecture types in history and learn how these buildings evolve. This knowledge will help us anchor our drawings with history that evokes a rich storytelling.

- Traditional sketching media (2B, 4B, and 6B pencils, large led pencil Czechia brand or other similar size, optional: Muji pens 0.38, 0.5, 0.7, or Bic Pens)
- Sketchbook for study and ideation (7 X 10 inches or smaller)

INSTRUCTOR: Gabriel Yeganyan
Gabriel is a concept artist and design consultant in the LA area. He received a B.A in Architecture from UC Berkeley and have been working in the film and game industry since. His past clients include Gearbox Software, Infinity Ward, Sony, HBO, Disney, Lionsgate, Respawn, Riot Games, and Lucasfilm.
