This course focuses on the practical techniques and drawing mileage needed for figure invention and storytelling. It is an essential class for students who are interested in storyboarding, character design, animation, or illustration. Topics such as clear gestures, body language, expressions, choosing the right keyframing poses, breaking down characters into simple forms for perspective shots, camera staging, and quick drawing short hands will be discussed during the many in-class lectures/ demos.
