This intermediate class focuses on the in-depth use of the camera to build up tension and study the different genre/staging methods of various film directors. Topics such as acting, camera placement, shot timing, and fight choreography will be covered in the weekly lectures and homework assignments.

RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITE: Intro to Perspective, Analytical Figure Drawing, Sketching for Environment; Fashion, Costume and Drapery; Figure Invention for Animation
MATERIALS: Computer (PC or Mac), Cintiq or Digital Drawing Tablet such as Wacom Tablet (doesn’t matter what size Cintiq) & Photoshop
INSTRUCTOR: Phil Langone is a freelance storyboard artist whom have worked in animation, advertisement, and live action film productions. His past projects include "Batman: The Brave and the Bold", "Young Justice", "The Jungle Book (live action)", "Alice Through the Looking Glass", "TMNT: Out of the Shadows", "Kong: Skull Island", "Spiderman: Homecoming & Far from Home", and "The Lion King (live action)".
