This introductory storyboard course focuses on the basic drawing and staging techniques used in the animation storyboard profession. Topics such as storyboard language, pipeline, drawing tips, character acting, screen direction, staging, composition, cutting, & exploration of different types of story genres (gag, cinematic) will be covered in the in-class lectures & demos. Class HW exercises are designed to simulate work environments to help prepare students for the job. This is a great class for anyone who wants to prepare themselves for the TV animation industry as a revisionist or storyboard artist.
