The understanding of architecture is a powerful tool for designers to create a believable environment that tells a story about the people/ culture that created it. In this intermediate design course, we will explore the fundamental structures of various architecture types in history and learn how to apply these ideas into unique concepts that evokes a rich history/storytelling behind the imagery.
(This online hybrid course allows our offsite students to attend the same course as our in person class on Thursday night. Students will be able to see the class demos, get HW feedback, ask questions during class and interact with other students on our class discord normally as in our regular online courses.)
You will receive all the class-related emails for this course about a week before the first day of class.

INSTRUCTOR: Gabriel Yeganyan is a freelance concept artist currently working at Lucasfilm for their Star Wars live action projects. Gabriel's past clients include Respawn Entertainment on “Jedi: Fallen Order”, Section Studios, Riot Games, Infinity Ward, Sony Santa Monica, and HBO.
