This background design course focuses on the design of props, architecture and interior for an animated production. “Background Design for Animation” focuses on establishing the stylized visual look of an animated film and using the sets to support the animation & storytelling. This is a must take class for any starting animation background/environment designers as the information taught are required for a visual development artist in a production.

INSTRUCTOR: Khang Le is an Emmy Award-winning Art Director. He specializes in Visual Development as well as all design aspect of animation such as background, characters and effects. Khang's past projects include "Big Hero 6: The Series", "Little Big Awesome", "Turbo FAST". Duck Tales", "Niko and the Sword of Light", "Motorcity", and "She-Ra".
