This class is focused on the story and storyboard development process for feature animation films. The class will discuss the development of characters and how to reveal who they are through conflicts and visual storytelling. The class will also go over the important technical aspects of staging tension and pacing. By the conclusion of this course, students will be able to understand the story development process, the production pipeline in a feature animation production, how to tell a story with a character through it decisions and actions in a sequence.

Max Perkins is a Story Artist currently working at Sony Animation. HIs past projects include "Troll Hunters", "3 Bellow", "Ron's Gone Wrong", "He Man and the Masters of the Universe" and "Spiderman: Across from the Spiderverse".
