This introductory course teaches the students how to research, observe, and breakdown what they see into unique design opportunities. The students will learn how to extract interesting design themes from their references and learn how to translate it into various design solutions. Through the exercises, students will broaden their design vocabulary and understand what visual elements will translate universally regardless of the subject matter.
