This class is designed to develop your foundations as a designer; you will learn how to break objects down to the most basic geometric forms and learn how to translate any object; live or inanimate on to paper with precision and ease. Through the use of pen and tone paper, you will learn to be more confident in your lines, and be aware of line economy. Topics such as perspective, gesture, drawing through will be covered during the many in-class and field trip sketch sessions.

- Vis Com 1: Dynamic Sketching
- Intro to Figure Drawing
- Analytical Figure Drawing
- Head and Hands Drawing


MATERIALS: Traditional sketching mediums

 


INSTRUCTOR:  Gregory Weir-Quiton is a veteran designer/illustrator with 40 years in fashion and 20 years in entertainment design. His experiences gives him an unique perspective that he shares with the next generation of artists he trains.

*Due to reasons such as instructor sick day, family emergencies, storm, earthquake, fire, flood, or other unforeseen circumstances, Concept Design Academy reserves the right to push any class back 1 week in the schedule if necessary.
