This short pose course continues where Analytical Figure Drawing class left off. It focuses on the quick decision making process of designing an image to capture the essence of a pose. Topics such as capturing the model likeness, weight, gesture, understanding the abstraction flow of the body, communicating the pose effectively through good 2D shape design, thinking through the pose in 3D to establish balance, capturing mid action poses, foreshortening pose strategies, and many in class quick drawing exercises to help train the students to not only copy the figure.
