This introductory design course focuses on the creation of fantastical, and memorable creatures. Through the use of personality, understanding of basic animal anatomy types, movement & unique animal behaviors to help us tell us a story about the imaginary creatures we are creating. Techniques such as thumbnail explorations, line drawing, digital painting of various materials, photo manipulation, and advanced creature painting techniques will be discussed and demonstrated in the class throughout the semester.
