The understanding of architecture is a powerful tool for designers to create a believable environment that tells a story about the people/ culture that created it. In this intermediate design course, we will explore the fundamental structures of various architecture types in history and learn how to apply these ideas into unique concepts that evokes a rich history/storytelling behind the imagery. 

 

This is a hybrid class that is taking place at CDA CAMPUS.

DURATION: 10 Weeks* 


RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITE: Intro to Perspective, Vis Com 1: Dynamic Sketching, Sketching for Environment

MATERIALS: Traditional sketching mediums, Computer/Laptop, Wacom & Photoshop required

 


INSTRUCTOR: Gabriel Yeganyan is a freelance concept artist currently working at Lucasfilm for their Star Wars live action projects. Gabriel's past clients include Respawn Entertainment on “Jedi: Fallen Order”, Section Studios, Riot Games, Infinity Ward, Sony Santa Monica, and HBO.

Students are strongly recommended to plan their schedule with some flexibility in mind to avoid schedule conflicts.
