The understanding of architecture is a powerful tool for designers to create a believable environment that tells a story about the people/ culture that created it. In this intermediate design course, we will explore the fundamental structures of various architecture types in history and learn how to apply these ideas into unique concepts that evokes a rich history/storytelling behind the imagery.

PREREQUISITE: Intro to Perspective, Vis Com 1: Dynamic Sketching, Sketching for Environment, Landscape Painting, Intro to Digital Painting, Intro to Environment Design
MATERIALS: Traditional sketching mediums, Computer/Laptop, Wacom & Photoshop required
