The understanding of architecture is a powerful tool for designers to create a believable environment that tells a story about the people/ culture that created it. In this intermediate design course, we will explore the fundamental structures of various architecture types in history and learn how to apply these ideas into unique concepts that evokes a rich history/storytelling behind the imagery.

RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITE: Intro to Perspective, Vis Com 1: Dynamic Sketching, Sketching for Environment
MATERIALS: Traditional sketching mediums, Computer/Laptop, Wacom & Photoshop required
INSTRUCTOR: Gabriel Yeganyan is a freelance Concept Artist with B.A. in Architecture from UC Berkeley. His past clients include studios such as Section Studios, Gearbox Software, Riot Games, Infinity Ward, Sony Santa Monica, HBO, & Respawn Entertainment.

Students are strongly recommended to plan their schedule with some flexibility in mind to avoid schedule conflicts.
