This course focuses on the practical techniques and drawing mileage needed for figure invention. It is an essential class for students who are interested in storyboarding, character design, animation or illustration. Topics such as gesture, body language, expressions, simple forms, perspective shots, staging, and figure in environment will be discussed during the many in class lectures and demonstrations

Joshua James Shaw is a Senior Illustrator at Marvel Studios currently working on Marvel's "What if...?". His past projects include "Deadpool", "Xmen: Days of the Future Past", "The Punisher", & "Daredevil".
