This foundational course is designed for both beginning & intermediate artists, who wish to learn more about the human form, structure and design. The class focuses on breaking down & understanding the complex forms of the human body through its weekly lectures. Proportion, gesture, weight, form and design are stressed throughout the term and class will work from live model weekly. This is a great class for anyone who is interested in developing figure invention skills. Pose length ranges from 5 minutes - 15 minutes each.

(This class will meet in person from week 1~5 and will go online between week 6~9 with the online class meeting running from 3PM~7PM. For the last day of class, the course will return to the in person format and meet at the regular 2PM~6PM class time.)

RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITE: Vis Com 1: Dynamic Sketching
MATERIALS: Traditional sketching mediums
PERMISSION FORM (for those under the age of 18): The parent or guardian must sign this form to be admitted into the session.
